Hi friends,
Today I want to share a simple and easy two page spread. I used the Cricut to create this layout. The title for the layout comes from the Family Album cartridge (or image sets).
This is a layout of our shed in the backyard. It was in bad shape when we bought the property. We did fix the front and sides of the shed (the parts that neighbors could see). I wasn’t to concerned about the back because nobody seen it, even though it looked dreadful.
Well, the hubby was tired of it, so we fixed it all up in a weekend. We added hardy board, corner strips and painted it to match the other part of the shed.
I used the Cricut drawing tool to add the date to first page up near the title. On the other side, I added the words before & after using the same drawing. I also used this feature for the journaling on the first page. So much easier to have the Cricut do it and neater too!

The other page:

I used a white gel pen and did some faux stitching around the outer edge of both pages. This is a closeup of the before, isn’t it awful 🙂

Here it all finished, so much nicer to look at it and happy it is finished!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! You can see my video creating this layout HERE
Hope you have a great day. Hugs, Stacy
