Hi friends! Happy Monday! Thanks so much for stopping by today. We are using the Cricut to make this adorable pizza box that is actually a gift card holder.
For the outside of the box, I wanted to add some kind of sentiment. I went to Google and typed in pizza puns, and I loved this one and thought it was perfect. We added the pizza slice from the image library in Cricut Design Space.
The whole front of the box is done using the Cricut pens. Here is another angle of the box. I put foam squares behind the text layer for added dimension.
The pizza itself is adorable. I didn’t add all of the toppings that Cricut had, I just used the pepperoni. Leave me a comment below on what your favorite pizza topping is. Mine is peppers & onions. YUM!
For added dimension on the pizza, before you add the toppings, I would add lines to make it look like sliced pizza. I love how you can see the gift card behind the pizza. It doesn’t reveal the whole gift card, more of a sneak peak.
Another use for this fun box would be to add some 3 x 3 cards and envelopes on the inside and you have a really cute stationary box.
