Welded Shaped Apple Card

Hi friends!

Today we are going to be using the Cricut to take a basic shape like an apple and make a welded, shaped card.

I show you how to make the shaped/welded card and how to create a pocket for the inside of the card that is an apple shape. We take it up a notch, by adding text to the inside as well as a spot for a gift card holder!

This is a great card for your child’s teacher or a teacher friend. Sometimes, we don’t know the teacher personally as far as what they like and don’t like, so a gift card is perfect, especially if they love coffee. You can change the text on the inside to say anything you like.

Examples:

• I’d apple-y be in your class
• You are awesome to the core
• We couldn’t have “picked” a better teacher
• An apple a day keeps anyone away, if you throw it hard enough 🙂
