Today we are using the Cricut to make this really fun deer pop up card!
I did resize the card, from the original. You can see that in the video linked below. I also added some embossing to the inside, just for that extra little touch.
The “Happy Holidays” greeting on the inside is done with the Cricut, using the marker. Of course, you can always leave that off and add your greeting if you’d like.
The colors I went with for the pop up part, is from Stampin’ Up! it is Coastal Cabana, the blue is also from Stampin’ Up!, it is Night Of Navy. I think they go nice together.
Normally, with a pop up type card, it’s hard to decorate the outside. The design space file for this card did not have any pieces to go on the outside, so I had to do some thinking 🙂
Here is what I came up with:
The outside pieces measure:
- Coastal Cabana 4 x 5 3/4
- Pattern Paper 3 3/4 x 5 1/2
- Coastal Cabana Top Layer 3 1/4 x 3 1/4
- White Layer 3 x 3
I chose to offset the greeting piece for the front versus having it be in the center. I also added some twine to empty space of the left, and tied it into a bow (I tried a bow)
The greeting, swirls and the snowflake is all from the same stamp set from Maymay called Winter Wonderland

Hope you have a great day! Hugs, Stac;
