DIY Wooden Block Decor
This is such an easy craft to make and looks great anywhere and makes a great decor piece or gift idea.
I used wood blocks I found at Hobby Lobby. I had my husband cut the wood at 4", 5" and 6". I used chalk paint to paint the blocks and then sandpaper to distress a little bit.

Using Cricut Design Space, I cut the words out of cheap black card stock. The font in design space is called Aphasia. I applied the words to the blocks using Art Glitter Glue, then covered it with home-made mod podge. (super easy to make- 2 parts glue, 1 part water) I used Elmers school glue. I applied two coats, letting each coat dry thoroughly in between,
Once dried, I glued the blocks together and wrapped in twine and finished it off with a bow. A great idea for the back side would be to add your favorite scriptures using the same method in design space. This way it would be double sided.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
